DevOps Engineer (Korea)

Location: Remote, Korea Standard Time

Allganize is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to develop tools and solve technical challenges for our a multi-disciplinary Engineering Team. This crucial role encompasses both new development, operational resolution, and work with engineers to deliver software with accuracy and speed. The ideal candidate has solid coding skills with a deep knowledge and love for Linux based systems. Responsibilities

• Collaborate, design, and lead in DevOps infrastructure development spanning AWS and GCP
• Manage & review technical operations
• Guide technology choices and integration decisions
• Design and build back-end logic in Django
• Create modular and reusable component library that can be shared across projects
• Build GraphQL APIs for data exchange between front-end and AI server.
• Collaborate with front-end, back-end and AI engineers
• Conduct code reviews
• Pack and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor and optimize server and database performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in managing SaaS with amazing uptime
• Experience in Python development
• Strong knowledge foundation in web and mobile system
• Knowledge of the Django template languages
• 2+ years experience in working with RDBMS, especially PostgreSQL
• Experience with version control software (Git, GitHub)
• Understanding of software design patterns
• Experience collaborating across multiple functional and/or technical teams to deliver an Agile-based project
• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience developing applications on AWS, GCP environments preferred
• Experience with GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, cloud deployments, and deployment tooling
• Fluent in Korean

Desired Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or DevOps engineer
• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge of/exposure to machine learning concepts is a plus
• Fluent in English or Japanese is a plus
