Sales Development (Korea)

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Manager who can thrive in a startup environment while running enterprise deals from start to finish.

We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Development Representative to actively seek new business opportunities, engage and build relationships with potential customers and grow revenue in South Korea. You will work in a fast-paced environment at an early stage AI startup with Series A funding. This role will impact the company through lead generation and sales pipeline volume, as well as helping to mold and foster the next future Account Executives and leaders in our sales organization.

This is a remote position while you must be able to work in KST. Since this massive pandemic turned the world and our lives to remote, we will continue to be "Remote First/Safety First" for our employees.

  • Become an expert at using lead generation tools to generate lists of target prospect accounts
  • Qualify prospects based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant questions
  • Schedule discovery calls for our sales team
  • Be proficient at using a sales development platform to execute the outreach process consisting of phone, email, and social touches
  • Strive to continuously improve your sales development process, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices
  • Partner with our outsourced lead generation partner to ensure their success and develop and communicate metrics for tracking lead generation and customer engagement
  • Represent and demonstrate our company values, brand, and mission

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior lead generation and/or sales prospecting experience (cold calling, email outreach, social outreach) required
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to speak with executives, IT and business leaders within large and small enterprises and ask intelligent questions
  • Ability to quickly learn our technical solution at a high level and communicate its value to prospective clients
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and experience tracking and presenting them
  • Organized and possess strong time management skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
  • A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
  • A sense of urgency and persistence
  • Must be fluent in Korean, written and verbal
  • Additional languages would be an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree
