Alli User Guide - Microsoft Active Directory integration

You can integrate your Microsoft Active Directory with Alli and manage login credentials and account information of your organization members. Let's see how to do this.

You can find the 'Active Directory' tab under the Settings > Integrations. But first, you need to ask your Allganize agent to unlock the feature for your project. Your agent will help you to confirm the domain ownership for the domain you're using for your Active Directory.

This is what you see before unlocking Active Directory integration.

Second, you need to retrieve this information from your Active Directory Server:

  • Domain URL
    Example: allganize.com
  • DN (Username)
    Example: cn=admin,dc=allganize,dc=com
  • Group names for each permission level - Admin, Super Member, Member. Use the group name you're using in your Active Directory. 'Member' level group name is a mandatory field.

Once you have all the information you need, put all the information in each relevant field and click the 'Connect' button.

Now your organization members can log in to Alli using the login credential in your Active Directory. Please remember that members who use Active Directory to log in to Alli cannot change the account information they retrieve from Active Directory in the Alli dashboard.
